Child and youth counselling

Two young people sitting on a stone bench against a gray wall, one with long red hair wearing a white T-shirt, and the other with short dark hair wearing a white T-shirt and black pants, looking at something in their hands.

Growing up can be challenging. Whether it’s navigating school pressures, managing big emotions, or coping with difficult family changes, children and teens benefit from a safe, supportive space where they can explore their feelings and develop healthy coping skills.

What to expect

We use a variety of evidence-based and creative techniques, including play therapy, art, narrative approaches, and skills-building exercises. Therapy sessions are designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and paced to meet each child or teen’s unique needs. Parents and caregivers are invited to be part of the process as appropriate, fostering a supportive environment both in and outside the therapy room.

We support children and youth facing challenges such as:

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Depression and low mood

  • Social difficulties and peer challenges

  • Trauma and loss

  • Attention and behavioural concerns

  • Life transitions and family changes
